The North Carolina Annual Issues Forum introduces participants to a broad range of issues affecting North Carolina. Program content comprehensively reflects the current state of North Carolina's economy and society.
Participants in LEADERSHIP AMERICA North Carolina attend three sessions that take place in different cities across the state. Each Session lasts 3 1/2 days. After participation in the Sessions, the participants return to their professional, civic and personal endeavors with a deeper understanding of the most important public and private sector issues facing North Carolina.
Participants become part of a powerful network of women and build connections through LEADERSHIP AMERICA, the nation's premier leadership program for women. As an affiliate member, they will receive the national newsletter and are invited to participate in the Annual Expo.
The topics for the 2003-2004 Annual Issues Forums are "Transforming North Carolina: Women in Power," "North Carolina & the New Economy: Understanding Women's Roles," and "Women Leaders and the 21st Century Challenge."
